Matching people with the right volunteer opportunity is very important
and adds to the volunteers' overall feelings of being appreciated, productive
and energized. CNI Volunteers get to use their skills and training to
assist with fundraising events and are encouraged to get involved in the
variety arenas. Volunteers may participate in the organization and/or
implementation of educational seminars, membership teas, and CNI educational
and social functions. Volunteers are also given opportunities to meet
and interact with many of the patients and families who have been touched
by CNI. Each Volunteer also receives the CNI newsletter, In TOUCH with
CNI, the CNI Update and a Volunteer Directory.
The CNI Volunteers were organized in 1997 to help CNI implement its inaugural
fundraising benefit, Swingtime 98. Having just begun to venture
into the fundraising arena, CNI needed the support and dedication of the
community to ensure a successful and memorable event. Since that time,
the CNI Volunteers organization has grown to over 150 members and they
play an integral role in the future success of the Colorado Neurological
Institute.
As a Volunteer you can get involved with CNI
in a variety of ways:
Special events planning such as the annual Gala
and Golf events
We are always looking for energetic, talented and fun people to join
our organization and help in the battle against neurological illness.
