What CNI Means to Former Patient and Board President Cindy Acree
The Colorado Neurological Institute's mission is to enhance the delivery of personalized, comprehensive and state-of-the-art care to patients with neurological conditions through coordinated patient care, education, research, and outreach activities.
Colorado Neurological Institute was founded in 1988 and is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving those touched by a neurological condition.
CNI arose from a significant community need that we continue to address to this day:
Patients with neurological conditions often find that they do not have access to the comprehensive care, support, and resources they need.
In partnership with our distinguished member physicians, we provide comprehensive care for a full spectrum of neurological disorders, including epilepsy, movement disorders, brain and spinal tumors, head trauma, hearing disorders, stroke, sleep disorders, migraines, neuromuscular disorders, and more.
CNI is today the largest and most comprehensive neuroscience center in the Rocky Mountain region. We are recognized by Neurosource as a Neuroscience Center of Excellence.
Unlike traditional hospitals and medical centers, CNI provides a unique collaborative environment that allows top neurological specialists and medical professionals from multiple fields and disciplines to blend their knowledge, skills and experience to provide the highest level of care and support to patients and their families. This unique approach allows CNI to offer a complete continuum of care that addresses every aspect of a patient’s diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation needs in the most cost-effective manner possible. Complementing the state-of-the-art treatments our member physicians provide, CNI services include:
CNI also partners with other leading medical organizations to enhance the breadth and depth of capabilities available to patients and their families. These include Swedish Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center and acute care hospital, Craig Hospital and Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital.
