The Thompson Center for Restorative Neurosurgery at CNI provides a comprehensive program of assessment and surgical treatment for patients with disabling movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, and dystonia.

American Academy of Neurology: This site provides information about AAN, neurology and resources available through the AAN. 

The Movement Disorders Society: This site provides access to subscribing to the Movement Disorders Journal and applying for grants as well as information on videos for purchase, memberships and meetings.

WE MOVE- Worldwide Education and Awareness for Movement Disorders: This site provides extensive information and linkage libraries on many different movement disorders including Parkinson's disease, dystonia, essential tremor, restless leg syndrome, spasticity and Tourette's Syndrome.

Movement Disorder Virtual University, by WE MOVE, provides movement disorder news, resources and educational activities. Note their multimedia center for presentations about Parkinson's and other diseases.

Parkinson's Disease

Colorado Parkinson Foundation, an affiliate chapter of the National Parkinson Foundation with headquarters in Colorado Springs and provides the Jeanne Taylor Parkinson Support Group.

National Parkinson's Disease Foundation: This site provides information about Parkinson's Disease, news, events, clinical studies, resources, a library of articles, and an extensive links page.

Parkinson's Association of the Rockies: This site provides detailed information on support groups in Colorado and Wyoming as well as frequently asked questions regarding PD and Young Onset Parkinson's, a extensive online resource list and an online library.

Atypical Parkinson's: MSA and PSP

The Society for PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy)  Provides information, education, support, and advocacy to persons diagnosed with PSP, their families, and caregivers. The Society for PSP educates physicians and allied health professionals on PSP and how to improve patient care.

Dystonia

Dystonia Foundation: This site provides information on dystonia, treatments, support groups, on-line support groups, articles and a variety of other dystonia-related material.

NEW ST/Dystonia This organization provides a yearly symposium in various areas of the USA and Canada featuring the latest medical/non-medical advances, a quarterly newsmagazine, compendium of useful articles referring to various types of treatment, and awareness/publicity programs.

Huntington's Disease

Huntington's Disease Society of America: This site provides information about Huntington's Disease, research, grants, education and news as well as information about HDSA chapters across America.

The Huntington's Disease Society of America's National Youth Alliance (NYA) The National Youth Association is for people ages thirty and under with Huntington's disease in their lives. This could be a pHD (person with HD), somebody at risk, a caregiver, a friend, etc.   Their goal is to support each other, and fight to be the first generation WITHOUT Huntington's.

Huntington Study Group (HSG): A non-profit group of physicians and other health care providers from medical centers in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Australia, experienced in the care of Huntington patients and dedicated to clinical research of Huntington's disease.

Essential Tremor

International Essential Tremor Foundation: This site has general information about essential tremor and people to contact about support groups. You can also order an introductory packet of information. Includes the names of physicians in the U.S. and worldwide. 

Tremor Action Network (TAN) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to spread awareness of essential tremor by advocating for a cure through research.

Ataxia

National Ataxia Foundation  Its primary mission is to encourage and support research into Hereditary Ataxia, a group of neurological disorders which are chronic and progressive conditions affecting coordination.

Myoclonus

Myclonus Research Foundation: This site provides information about myclonus, causes, treatments, self-help as well as the sale of an "Overview of Myoclonus" video.

Restless Leg Syndrome

Restless Leg Syndrome Foundation  Through education, advocacy and research, the Restless Legs Syndrome Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of the millions of men, women, and children who suffer from restless legs syndrome (RLS). 

Tourette Syndrome

Tourette Syndrome Association, Inc.: This site provides extensive information about Tourette Syndrome, a glossary, frequently asked questions, discussion of myths about Tourette Syndrome, medical and scientific information and a chat room.
