American Academy of Neurology (AAN):
News and information about neurological health, research and emerging
therapies, as well as links to Neurology Journal.
Journal Watch Neurology:
Edited and reviewed by more than 80 physicians, JWatch regularly combs
180 medical journals for important findings in Neurology.
Neurosurgery://On-Call
offers Health Resources on a variety of neurological diseases, patient
resources, and a general overview of neurosurgery. See their web
guide for help locating other neuroscience and neurosurgical resources,
indexed by specific clinical topics.
National Institute of Health
provides health information, including links to the NIH Health Information
Index, which is an A-Z subject guide. It also links to MEDLINEplus,

is for people affected by Central Pain Syndrome (CPS), which is also known
as Thalamic Pain Syndrome, Dejerine-Roussy Syndrome, Posterior Thalamic
Syndrome, Retrolenticular Syndrome, Central Post-Stroke Syndrome, and
often found under Neuropathic Pain.

Contains basic information about
brain tumors, FAQs, resources for health professionals, events and conferences,
and family support advice. The website features an extensive

National Brain Tumor
Foundation
Based in San Francisco, California, this organization provides information
and funds research. A
variety of publications, newsletters, fact sheets and information
is free to patients and family members and can be obtained by viewing

for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing: This site provides information
that adheres to AG Bell's mission of focusing specifically on children
with hearing loss, providing ongoing support and advocacy for parents,

Hearing Loss Association of America (formerly
known as SHHH – Self-Help for Hard of Hearing People) has a mission
to open the world of communication to people with hearing loss by providing
information, education, support and advocacy. Their website provides
information regarding advocacy, online resources, their conventions,
publications, chapters and state associations and access to a listserv
for parents of hard of hearing children.
Listen Foundation The
LISTEN Foundation, located in Englewood, Colorado, has supported families
who would otherwise not have access to the equipment and therapy that
their children need in order to become listening, speaking adults who
can then reach their full potential as productive members of society.
The great advances in hearing aids, cochlear implants, and medicine allows
the therapists to enhance the child's useable hearing to achieve these
results.
National Institute on Deafness
and Other Communication Disorders: The
NIDCD supports human communication research. This site provides health
information, strategic planning, intramural and research funding
as well as other information about NIDCD.
Epilepsy
American Epilepsy Society
promotes research and education for professionals dedicated to the prevention,
treatment and cure of epilepsy.
Epilepsy Foundation:
A national volunteer organization that works for people affected by seizures
through research, education, advocacy and service. Goals include
broadening and strengthening of research, providing individuals and families
with easy access to reliable information, and assuring access to appropriate
medical care for those affected by seizures.

Movement Disorders
We Move - Worldwide Education and
Awareness for Movement Disorders: This site provides extensive
information and linkage libraries on many different movement disorders

Ataxia, a group of neurological disorders which are chronic and progressive
conditions affecting coordination.
National Parkinson's Disease Foundation:
This site provides information about Parkinson's Disease, news, events,

Parkinson's Association
of the Rockies : This site provides detailed information on support
groups in Colorado and Wyoming as well as frequently asked questions regarding
PD and Young Onset Parkinson's, a extensive online resource list and an
online library.
The Society for PSP (Progressive Supranuclear
Palsy) Provides information, education, support, and advocacy
to persons diagnosed with PSP, their families, and caregivers. The Society
for PSP educates physicians and allied health professionals on PSP and
how to improve patient care.
Restless Leg Syndrome Foundation
Through education, advocacy and research, the Restless Legs Syndrome
Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of the millions of men,

ST/Dystonia
