bluebrainClinic settings bring together a number of medical professionals in one space and time to offer patients coordinated care with a clear plan of action.  This care is a hallmark of the collaboration of CNI staff and our affiliate members.  The NeuroHealth Center participates in the following clinics:

HD Clinic – A multidisciplinary clinic serving those with Huntington’s Disease and their care partners. Rajeev Kumar, MD Movement Disorders Specialist, is the Medical Director.  The clinic participants include PT, OT, ST, care navigation, counseling and genetic counseling.  This clinic is designated by the Huntington’s Disease Society of America as a HD Center of Excellence.  For information, please call 303-788-4010.

 ALS Clinic A multidisciplinary clinic serving those with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis /Lou Gehrig’s Disease and their care partners.  Marc Treihaft, MD, Neuromuscular Disease Specialist is the Medical Director.  Additional team members are:  Karen Theriot MD, James Fenton MD, PT, OT, ST, respiratory therapy, dietician and counseling.  This clinic is co-sponsored by the Rocky Mountain ALS Association.  For information, please call Ellen Belle at 303-806-7421 or email ebelle@thecni.org. MS Rehab Clinic – A multidisciplinary clinic serving those with Multiple Sclerosis and their care partners to coordinate rehab efforts.  Karen Theriot, MD, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is the Medical Director.  Additional team members might include PT, OT, ST or counseling and are determined as needed by the patient.  Initial visits are coordinated on the same day with conferencing and setting of joint goals with the patient. For information, please call Ellen Belle at 303-806-7421 or email ebelle@thecni.org.

Wheelchair  and Bracing Clinics – A multidisciplinary clinic for those needing a Wheelchair, either manual or power, or a brace.  Patients are seen by the physical therapist and either Assistive Technology Professional or orthotist.  Often a physician is also involved in the clinic process and overall decision for the wheelchair or device. For information, please call Ellen Belle at 303-806-7421 or email ebelle@thecni.org.
