American Epilepsy Society promotes research and education for professionals dedicated to the prevention, treatment and cure of epilepsy.
Epilepsy Foundation: A national volunteer organization that works for people affected by seizures through research, education, advocacy and service. Goals include broadening and strengthening of research, providing individuals and families with easy access to reliable information, and assuring access to appropriate medical care for those affected by seizures.
Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado: has information about epilepsy, seizure first aid and resources.
American Academy of Neurology: provides information about neurology for members as well as the general public.
Cyberonics: designs, develops and markets implantable medical devices for the treatment of epilepsy, such as the vagal nerve stimulator.
