Practical Neurology – A unique educational conference that will present practical information for primary care providers who care for patients with neurological conditions. Topics will include diagnosis and treatment of common neurological conditions and when it is appropriate to refer. The focus will be on providing concise, clinically relevant, and up-to-date information for the busy primary care provider. The conference features nationally recognized neurologists, neurosurgeons, and other health professionals who specialize in neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
Specific topics include migraines, common neurosurgical conditions, movement disorders (including tremor and Parkinson’s disease), concussion, seizure disorders, rehabilitation, wellness, dementia, and the neurology of cannabis. Physicians, nurses, physician’s assistants, and other health professionals are invited.
This activity has been planned and implemented on accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of PeerPoint Medical Education Institute and Colorado Neurological Institute.
