More Ways to Contribute to CNI > Legacy ProgramLegacy ProgramA legacy gift is special and unique to your needs and desires. Usually the legacy is established through the inclusion of the charity in a will, via an insurance policy, or through a planned giving instrument. It is a gift which provides a powerful message: I believe in CNI and trust them to use my gift for my legacy once I have passed away. The amount of the gift is not important. The message of trust and charity left behind is where the treasure lies. Or, you can make a gift in “memory” or in “honor” or “tribute” to an individual or group. CNI Legacy SocietyThe name alone states the goal and objective of this special group of contributors. For CNI, there is no greater statement of trust than to make a legacy gift. Essentially, you’re saying you trust the Colorado Neurological Institute to utilize your gift in the manner you’ve designated after death. A part of your personal legacy will be administered and honored by CNI. Based on the powerful message expressed by a legacy gift, Colorado Neurological Institute has created a special society comprised solely of these contributors. You’re providing security and stability to carry on and enhance the work providing the best possible care, research, outreach, and unique “team” approach to helping patients and families. Every gift means so much to helping to carry out the mission of CNI. Every legacy society planned gift will be honored that much more as it’s your expression of belief in Colorado Neurological Institute. All legacy gifts received before CNI’s 20th Anniversary Celebration in 2008 will be recognized and individuals will be listed as “Founding Members” of the Legacy Society. CNI EndowmentAn endowment is a special fund created and used to provide for the future. The principal is never touched. Only the interested generated is used. Our goal is to have an endowment for each Center/Program and service we offer to patients in addition to a general endowment for operation. CNI already has several endowments that have been established. One in particular was created through the LMC Community Foundation. We’re honored to work with LMC in the creation of this wonderful fund for the future.
This unique endowment fund enables a donor to receive a 50% match to their gift and all funds will designated to this endowment. Contact the CNI office for more details. If you have questions about any current endowment opportunities or want to establish a new fund, please contact us. Memorials and Tributes“Dad always believed in helping others. I know he would be proud that I inherited his strong belief in charity. Giving this gift, in his name, feels so right.” Whether you select a direct cash gift, a bequest, a trust, or a gift of stock or life insurance, consider giving your donation as a tribute or memorial to a relative or friend.
