Mile-Hi MicroSurgical Teaching Laboratory
The CNI NeuroHealth Center is home to the Mile-Hi MicroSurgical Teaching Laboratory. Establishment of the lab was underwritten by a generous grant from the Mile-Hi Sertoma Club.
One of the most advanced of its kind in the world, this microsurgical teaching facility allows physicians from different specialties to learn and refine innovative microsurgical techniques. Courses and one-on-one sessions are taught by CNI physicians and other qualified instructors to physicians from around the world. A current focus of work in the lab is teaching advanced cochlear implant surgical techniques through the CNI Center for Hearing.
Lab Features
- Nine state-of-the-art microsurgery stations for physicians’ surgical training
- Closed-circuit units at each station for viewing the instructor’s techniques
- Closed-circuit TV connections to operating rooms at Swedish Medical Center
The Mile-Hi Sertoma Club Microsurgical Teaching Lab is available for a wide variety of training courses.
