Channel 7 News Interviews Stroke PROTECT Participants
7NEWS recently interviewed CNI Stroke PROTECT participants. The story of increasing stroke awareness, and an increase of stroke instances among younger people, was covered in a three-part series which aired during the week of February 16, 2009.
Recognizing the signs and symptoms of stroke, acting quickly -- in less than 3 hours -- and perseverance during the recovery phase is key to surviving and triumphing over stroke.
Stroke PROTECT Program participants, Chris Allen and Mary Sampson, as well as CNI Stroke Program Medical Director Dr. Chris Fanale, are highlighted in this news series. View the series. www.thedenverchannel.com/health/18751960/detail.html
