Forum on Parkinson's Clinical Research in Colorado - May 19, 2012 in Englewood, CO

The Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, the Parkinson Association of the Rockies, the Colorado Neurological Institute and the University of Colorado Medical School invite you and your guests to join us for an educational forum on Parkinson’s research and to recognize the contributions of Parkinson’s clinical research participants.

Learn more about the drug development process, the different types of trials, and how you and your loved ones can participate. Speak with some of the most active Principal Investigators in Colorado about their research. Ask questions of Research Coordinators about their ongoing trials. Talk to others who have participated in trials about their experiences. Decide to participate. Make a difference.

Admission for this program is free, but registration is required. Register by calling or emailing Susan at the Parkinson Association of the Rockies (PAR) at 303-830-1839 or slanzer@ParkinsonRockies.org. Please RSVP by Wednesday, May 16.

Parkinson's Education Event in Casper, Wyoming - November 7, 2011

Colorado Neurological Institute and the Casper, Wyoming Parkinson's Disease Support Group are teaming up for a free community education event focused on new and exciting developments in the treatment of Parkinson's disease. The event will be held on November 7, from 2:00-3:00 p.m., at Christ Methodist Church in Casper and is designed for Parkinson's patients, families and caregivers, as well as neurologists and other interested medical professionals. Rajeev Kumar, MD, Medical Director of the CNI Movement Disorders Center and a foremost movement disorders specialist and researcher, will present.

Registration

Admission to this program is free but RSVPs are requested as seating is limited. Those who wish to attend should contact the CNI Education Department at 720.870.1999 or by e-mail. People can also register by contacting the Casper Parkinson's Support Group at 307.237.4316. Registrants should provide their name, address, and telephone number.
