CNI Center for Hearing
CNI Cochlear Kids Camp
Planned Activities
Lodging: Each family will be assigned to a private room with full bath. All bedding, linens and towels are provided.
Food: Meals are included in the cost and will be provided at scheduled times throughout the weekend.
What to Bring: Due to the changing weather conditions that often occur in the mountains, days can be warm and sunny, with occasional afternoon rain showers, while evenings are generally cool. Please bring a variety of clothing that can be worn and removed in layers, such as shirts, jackets, shorts and long pants. We also suggest that each family member bring a raincoat and tennis shoes or hiking boots. Estes Park Center has an indoor swimming pool so be sure to bring swimwear. And don't forget that your board and helmet are welcome at the Estes Park Center's skateboard pavilion.
Activities
Our camp offers a wide range of activities, including parent and family workshops, children's day camp sessions, family team building, arts and crafts, nature walks, ropes course, climbing areas, swimming, archery, barbeque cookout, games and more. A typical day includes gathering for breakfast as a group in our private dining room, attending group activities in the morning, joining together for lunch, spending the afternoon participating in a variety of CNI-sponsored "Campers' Choice" activities, having dinner as a group, then attending CNI-sponsored group events such as mini-golf tournaments, roller-skating parties, pool-time and more. The camp will also feature an added bonus for the older teens: an optional, no-extra-charge camp-out on Friday evening, led by YMCA counselors.
