Outreach & Support

Support Group

The CNI Epilepsy Support Group provides invaluable information and assistance to patients in a variety of areas. Co-facilitated by Peggy Hugger, RN, and Judith Stucky, MA, LPC, the support group offers multiple educational presentations in addition to the important aspects of fellowship and group support. Past topics have included generic medications, seizure types, first aid, recognizing situations that require immediate medical attention, medication side effects, abortive therapies, stress reduction and when to talk to the doctor about seizure surgery. Open to patients and their families, the group meets at the following times/days:

Dates: 3rd Tuesday of every month (No meeting in Nov. or Dec.)
Time: 6-7:30 pm
Location: Swedish Hospital Conference Center, 2nd Floor Conference Room
