CNI Epilepsy Center

Research & Outcomes

Research

At the CNI Epilepsy Center, we are working to improve the quality of life for people with epilepsy by testing new treatments as they become available to patients. As a recognized regional center for clinical trials, we conduct and participate in studies that focus on new treatments for epilepsy patients, including both experimental drugs and new technologies. Required by FDA before any new treatment can be approved for public use, these studies provide a controlled scientific way of testing new treatments for safety and effectiveness.

You can discuss the possibility of participating in current or upcoming clinical research trials with your physician at the CNI Epilepsy Center. There are risks associated with any medical procedure or medication, and you should discuss potential concerns thoroughly with your physician. Participation in clinical trials is voluntary and you may leave a study at any time.
