JJ's Story

J.J. Beattie is a devoted mom who learned she an inoperable brain tumor. But J.J. has never given up hope or let her diagnosis get the best of her. She's a fighter who has inspired her family, friends and all of us at CNI.

The CNI Center for Brain & Spinal Tumors is a leading center for state-of-the-art, personalized neuro-oncology and has achieved a survival rate for patients with high-grade tumors that is much greater than national survival statistics.

Established in 1996, the CNI Center for Brain & Spinal Tumors offers expert care to those who have been touched by brain and spinal tumors. Serving Colorado, the Rocky Mountain region and areas beyond, the center is well-known for its aggressive, multi-disciplinary and integrated team approach to treatment and care. This approach emphasizes experience, expertise and advocacy aimed at improving the survival rate and quality of life for our patients.

The center is unique in its ability to bring together the diverse expertise and technology of CNI and Swedish Medical Center. This has helped make CNI a referral center for brain and spinal tumor patients from across Colorado, the Rocky Mountain region and the US, as well as various counties around the world.
