You might know Cindy Acree as a highly respected Colorado state representative, but Cindy has been involved in CNI for decades. Many years ago, she suffered a stroke while undergoing surgery for epilepsy. The road back to recovery was a long, arduous one and in this video Cindy shares her incredible story and her connection with CNI.

When Diane Cook learned she had Parkinson's disease, she took immediate action. She learned as much about the disease as possible and has become a PD activist, co-founding two highly successful support groups, promoting PD research, developing a self-efficacy model and even starting a foundation to spark research and education.
