How to Help
Ways to Contribute
To continue the work we do at the Colorado Neurological Institute, we need your support.
Just as our physicians and researchers touch lives and change the future through patient care, education and research, our donors touch lives and change the future through their sharing and generosity. Because of contributions, CNI is able to continue providing world-class care and hope to patients with neurological disease. Your philanthropic support helps CNI achieve its mission to deliver excellence from diagnosis to treatment to rehabilitation and recovery.
Since our founding as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 1988, we have been proud to earn the support of our patients, our community and our donors. CNI is funded by tax deductible donations from our patients, companies, foundations, and interested individuals. There are many ways to support our mission, including:

Annual Gifts Annual gifts support the highest priorities at CNI, sustaining our mission: To enhance the delivery of personalized, comprehensive and state-of-the-art care to patients with neurological conditions through coordinated patient care, education, research, and outreach activities.
Planned Gifts Planned giving can be as simple as naming the Colorado Neurological Institute as a/the beneficiary in your will. There are many ways beyond a bequest to make a planned gift to CNI, including gifts of stock, tangible personal property, charitable gift annuities, and many other options.
Cause Marketing Cause marketing refers to targeted marketing campaigns that strategically align corporations and businesses with a specific cause their customers care about. The campaign is geared toward increasing sales, with a portion being donated back to Colorado Neurological Institute. It's a win-win for both CNI and your company; CNI benefits from the proceeds, while your business benefits from sales! Tribute and Memorial Gifts You may choose to honor a friend, family member or cherished doctor; mark a special occasion, such as a graduation, bar/bat mitzvah, retirement or "milestone" birthday; or memorialize a loved one with a gift to CNI. Please indicate this wish with your gift.
Matching Gifts Many employers match charitable contributions made by employees. CNI may qualify for your company's matching gift program because we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law. Please contact Tom Rose, Director of Development at CNI, if you wish to make a matching gift.
Start Your Own Fundraiser You can support CNI by starting your own personal fundraiser! Endowments A legacy gift to the Colorado Neurological Institute is special and unique to your needs and desires. Usually the legacy is established through the inclusion of CNI in your will, via an insurance policy, or through a planned giving instrument. An endowment is a gift that provides a powerful message: I believe in the Colorado Neurological Institute and trust CNI to use my gift for my legacy once I have passed away. The message of trust and charity left behind is where the greatest treasure lies.
Special Events Each year, CNI holds a number of special events raising significant support of our mission. These include our annual Hope Award Celebation, golf outing and gala. These events provide visible corporate sponsorship opportunities.
