Other CNI Events

In addition to our fall gala, the Colorado Neurological Institute hosts the Cindy Acree Hope Awards Celebration and the CNI Open. Click on the links below to access more information about these events and ways you can help.

Cindy Acree Hope Awards Celebration - May, 2012

The Cindy Acree Hope Awards Celebration honors CNI physician-nominated patients who exemplify success over neurological conditions while providing courage, inspiration and hope to others through their ability to communicate their story, adapt to their neurological condition or improve patient support services. Established in 1999, the Awards Celebration is named for Cindy Acree, who underwent brain surgery for epilepsy, suffered a stroke, exhibited tenacity and courage throughout her recovery and continues to this day to encourage the community to learn about neurological conditions. Ms. Acree, a Colorado state representative, is a past chairman of CNI’s Board and a major contributor to CNI’s volunteer successes. The Hope Awards is named for her daughter, Hope. CNI Open (Golf Outing) - June, 2012

How often have you said, “If there’s anything I can do to help…?" Playing a round of golf at the CNI Open is a strong answer to that question. Each year, corporations, organizations of all kinds and foursomes join celebrities, friends and new friends in support of CNI programs and services. The day includes breakfast and lunch, golf, auction items, goody bags, and a fun way to help others. Learn more about the CNI Open and ways you can help by serving as a sponsor and/or volunteer.
