Executive Director
Tami Lack, MA, CFRE 303.806.7414 | E-Mail Tami Lack joined CNI in May of 2011, bringing 25 years of experience in non-profit management, fundraising and program development. The first half of her career was spent as a registered music therapist working in various clinical environments with stroke, MS and Alzheimer's patients, and later with Hospice and early childhood development. She has a strong background in mental health and has held the positions of Executive Director of the Napa Valley Mental Health Association, Supervisor of Rehabilitation Therapy at the Veteran's Home of California in Napa Valley, Music Therapist with Children's Hospital in San Francisco, Music Therapist at Napa State Hospital, and contract positions with Hospices, day treatment centers and group homes across the country. Prior to coming to CNI, Tami was Director of Development & Administration for eight years at Third Way Center, a highly respected mental health treatment program for adolescents in Denver. Tami is married to David Lack and they have three sons.
Director, CNI NeuroHealth Center Ellen Belle, MA-PT 303.806.7421 | E-Mail Ellen Belle has been practicing physical therapy for over 30 years in a variety of settings including inpatient, home care and outpatient rehabilitation. She has been manager of the CNI NeuroHeath Center since 2007 and her focus for the clinic is to provide quality team based rehab as well as promoting research. Ellen enjoys hiking, gardening, cooking and travel.
Director of Patient Care Luci Draayer, LCSW, CMC 720.974.4091 | E-Mail Luci Draayer joined CNI as Director of Patient Care in 2011, coming to the organization from Lutheran Family Services of Colorado, where she served as Director of the Care Management Solutions Program. The bulk of her social work career has been spent working with adults and families as they navigate major transitions in their lives, particularly in the arena of chronic conditions and illness. Addressing the needs of the "whole person" as well as the broader family system is an important emphasis in Luci's practice. Luci has served on the boards of established non-profit organizations in Denver for numerous years, and is currently active on the Board of Directors of the Western Regional Chapter of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. She received her Masters in Social Work degree from the University of Kentucky, and maintains her licensure as a Clinical Social Worker and Certified Care Manager. Away from work she is an avid flower gardener and pianist.
Director of Operations Amy Evans 303.597.1525 | E-Mail Amy Evans joined the CNI management team in June of 2011 after a 17-year career in event sales/marketing and restaurant management. Through this work, Amy had the opportunity to build relationships and partner with many non-profit organizations. Her previous involvement with the Tennyson Center for Children, Third Way Center, Meeting Planners International (MPI), and LoDo District earned her the coveted 2009 Denver Business Journal's "Forty Under 40" award. While working with Morton's The Steakhouse and McCormick's Catering at The Oxford Hotel, Amy served on the Board of Directors for the LoDo District and as its committee chair for events and marketing from 2005 to 2011. She continues her professional development through her current involvement in the Association for Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and Colorado Nonprofit Association. Amy's role as Director of Operations at CNI encompasses many facets, including but not limited to volunteer coordination, event logistics, human resources, and office administration.
Research Director Paula Fisk, CCRP 303.806.7455 | E-Mail Paula Fisk brings experience and knowledge in clinical research to CNI. Paula joined CNI in February of 2010 as has been an active member of the medical field for the past 11 years. She is a member of Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) with a certification as a clinical research professional since 2004. Paula has been a clinical research coordinator since 2004 in various disease areas. Paula's most recent adventure was building and implementing a research department for a start-up biomedical device company. Paula's understanding and experience in the clinical research realm will only build and strengthen the research department at CNI.
Director of Finance Vikki Meyer, CFA 303.806.7412 | E-Mail Vikki Meyer, CFA, joined CNI in January of 2012, bringing 17 years of experience in corporate finance and financial services operations. Vikki began her career in financial services operations and risk management, working with Standard & Poor's Compustat and CoBank in various analytical and management roles. In 2000, she transitioned into corporate finance at Home Buyer's Warranty Corporation, where she held various roles managing the financial planning and analysis and accounting functions. Vikki holds a BA in business leadership and finance from the University of Puget Sound, as well as an MA in economics from the University of Colorado and a graduate certificate in accounting from the University of Denver. She is a CFA charterholder--one of the highest distinctions in the financial sector.
Director of Development Tom Rose 303.806.7415 | E-Mail Tom Rose began his health care career in 1986 with St. Joseph's and St. Mary's Hospitals in Tucson, Arizona, focusing on cardiac rehabilitation programs as Director of Marketing. In 1989, Tom became Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for a psychiatric health care company based in Tucson that eventually grew from one facility to 16 in nine states throughout the western U.S. Before coming to Colorado in 1999, Tom spent two years in Hilo, Hawaii establishing a private 30-student special education program and building a 38-bed residential treatment center for adolescents with severe psychiatric disorders. Since moving to Colorado, Tom has served in development and executive director positions at Harrison Memorial Animal Hospital, Colorado Children's Immunization Coalition, the Public Education & Business Coalition, and the Summit Prevention Alliance in Summit County. Tom is married to Beatriz, a native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and has two daughters, Lucia 14 and Sage 12.
